Fresh Start awards annual scholarships to women in Delaware based on financial need, personal challenges, and academic record. Scholarships are awarded in New Castle, Kent and Sussex counties for women to attend any of the accredited colleges and universities in the state. In over 28 years, Fresh Start has offered financial aid and mentorship to 330 women of all ages and ethnicities.
Here’s what you can expect from your application
In order to apply, you must be a Delaware resident, at least 20 years old and have had a 2-year gap in your education. You can expect to answer questions about your personal and professional life, as well as demonstrate financial need.
