Lisa-Marie Jackson is an award-winning digital marketing trailblazer with a broad background in creating, implementing, and managing impactful digital media programs for corporate and nonprofit clients in a variety of industry sectors. An expert social media marketing strategist, she has worked with corporate teams and agencies of record to drive top- and bottom-line growth.
Lisa-Marie began her career at Sallie Mae, where she was the second-in-command on a newly created social media team formed to support the company’s rebranding initiatives after it exited the federal student loan servicing business to focus on private student lending and other consumer banking activities. She was instrumental in helping to incorporate social media techniques into the company’s culture; build a consistent voice across website, event, and lead generation communications; and adopt social media search engine optimization tactics. Sallie Mae campaigns she helped lead received the Stevie® Awards, American Business Awards, Hermes Creative Awards, PR News Social Media Award, Bulldog Reporter Media Relations Award, and the State of Wisconsin Financial Literacy Award from the Wisconsin Governor’s Council on Financial Literacy.
Prior to launching Sociable Consulting, Lisa-Marie was a strategic business consultant at Trellist Marketing, a Delaware-based firm that integrates data with marketing, design, and digital services. As Trellist’s subject matter expert on all aspects of digital media marketing, she managed and implemented iconic integrated marketing campaigns and purpose-driven content.
Lisa-Marie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in convergence journalism from Delaware State University. In addition to her passion for bringing people and brands closer together, Lisa-Marie loves traveling, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family. Her volunteer activities include leading financial literacy workshops at Junior Achievement of Delaware that help equip college-bound students with smart money management habits.
